Year 7 Homework Spring 1

Revise the following vocabulary for a test w/c 15th Jan Homework 1 I meet up… I watch… I play… I do … I go… I chat… Je retrouve… Je regarde… Je joue… Je fais… Je vais… Je bavarde… Look on the knowledge organiser to see these phrases in sentences.

Homework 2 À la maison des jeunes Design and label ‘une maison des jeunes’ including the vocabulary and verb structures we have been learning. Include sentences about which is your ‘objet préféré’. J’adore envoyer des textos donc j’adore mon portable.

Les animaux et les couleurs Homework 3 Les animaux et les couleurs Revise the vocabulary for pets and colours. Show revision. Poster? Collage?

Homework 4 Tu as un animal? Conduct a small survey asking what pets your friends and family have. Ask a minimum of 3 people. Practise asking ‘tu as un animal?’ and translate their pets into French. Eg Ma tante a deux chats blancs et un cheval noir. Remember to record if they don’t have any pets! How would you say ‘I don’t have any pets’? Or ‘my uncle doesn’t have any pets’? How would you say, ‘ I don’t have any pets but I would like a ……’?
