Transmission transparent translucent opaque

Translucent- allows most of the light to pass through but the object appears blurry

Transparent A material that allows almost all of the light striking it to pass through

Opaque a material through which light does not pass

Intensity the amount of energy that passes through a square meter of space in one second it depends on the amount of energy a source emits

Sunsets After the Sun actually sets, its light rays refract, and you see the Sun above the horizon Our atmosphere slows down the Suns rays and the light refracts toward Earth’s surface Our brain thinks the light traveled in a straight line, and the Sun looks higher in the sky than it actually is..
