BRAILLE

WHAT IS BRAILLE     Braille is a writing system including bumps and raised dots used by people who are visually impaired.   Braille is read by the fingers. Braille is an important writing system, so they can communicate with each other.

MORE ABOUT BRAILLE This is helpful for visually impaired people when reading things like restaurant menus, financial statements and music.  Braille books cost more than normal books to purchase. This should not be the case because braille books are a vital part of a blind individuals learning and should be the same price or cheaper than normal day to day books.

HISTORY OF BRAILLE Louis Braille was the inventor of braille and was blind from a very young age. Over time braille became accepted throughout the world as a fundamental form of written communication for blind individuals.
