7.1 Committee Structure “The Committee shall consist of no less than 5, and no more than 9 members (hereinafter referred to as "Committee Members"). “The Committee shall consist of a combination of Chairman, a Treasurer, an Academy Coordinator, a Flag Football Coordinator, a Communications Officer, a Child Welfare Officer and 3 other members (hereinafter referred to as "Ordinary Members").” Constitutional changes approved

Elections – Chairman Key Responsibilities: Overall responsibility for delivery of the Club’s strategic goals and the overall management of its operational activities Chair meetings and act as senior club officer, by making decisions whenever the need arises, in consultation with other club officers if and when appropriate Set strategy for the Club in conjunction with committee and all Head Coaches Ensure that the Club structure, responsibilities and decision making process are transparent and available to members ELECTED – Michael Dilley (two-year term)

Elections - Academy Coordinator Key Responsibilities: Define and develop the OVE strategy for Academy football Increase interaction with schools, colleges, third parties and the wider community in our catchment area Understand public funding opportunities to support Academy football and secure them Develop a sustainability model for OVE regional academy or satellite clubs Generate playing and coaching development pathways ELECTED – Mark Chilton (one-year term)

Elections - Flag Football Coordinator Key Responsibilities: Define and develop the OVE strategy for Flag Football Increase interaction with schools, colleges, third parties and the wider community in our catchment area Understand public funding opportunities to support Academy football and secure them Develop a sustainability model for OVE regional academy or satellite clubs Generate playing and coaching development pathways ELECTED – Jake Cooper (one-year term)

Child Welfare Officer Key Responsibilities: Work closely with the Academy Coordinator and other representatives of the Club to ensure children are looked after to the highest standards Ensuring relevant legal checks are completed and maintained on a timely basis Undertaking specific actions and projects resulting from Committee meetings related to Child Welfare Liaise with BAFA to establish clear welfare guidelines and understand changes to them Instruct and inform any representative of The Club of their welfare responsibilities Act as parent and/or child liaison ELECTED – Jenny Chilton (one-year term)

Elections – Communications Manager Key Responsibilities: Create and maintain content for the Club’s communication channels (website, social media, newspapers etc.) Support other committee members on specific actions and projects related to Media Promoting the club, including gamedays, events and other activities ELECTED – Michael Dilley (one-year term)

Elections – Ordinary Member (x3) Key Responsibilities: Support other committee members on specific actions and projects Undertake specific actions and projects resulting from Committee meetings Stand in for other Committee members with specific roles where required Promoting the club, including gamedays, events and other activities ELECTED – Gareth Pullen, Ross Hubbard (one-year terms)

2017 & Beyond

Senior Football Key focus for the Senior team in 2017 is stability Focus on player and coach retention Purchase new kit Establish a permanent home for the Club Encourage Senior players to transition into coaching

Academy Football Establish funded OVE satellite academies in Luton and Milton Keynes Identify key regional towns and venues for further academy establishment Develop the OVE / AFD partnership and identify strategic not opportunistic funding Establish an U16 team Establish an U19 team or U19 access to full contact and pathway to senior football Achieve 5 new club coaches with funded level 1 accreditation

Flag Football Focus on building upon the ‘foundation’ playbook installed in the 2016 season. Turn attention toward raising awareness of the sport within local schools Establish U-16 team incorporating Adult- Flag playbook. Maintain financial stability and growth to support brand expansion into the 2018 season.
