Summary Winter of 1607 is approaching There is a lot of food right now No one wanted to leave the New World to go back to England because times were good!

summary John Smith left to go on another voyage His ship go stuck and he had to use a canoe to continue on his journey with just two other Englishmen and two savages He instructed the rest of the men not to leave the boat, but they did not listen and they went ashore. Seven men went onto shore total and into a village where savages were. Six of the seven men were able to escape barely. George Cassen was capture.

summary The savages had learned from George Cassen where John Smith was. They followed Smith with 300 bowmen. On their search they found Robinson and Emry sleeping by a fire (the two other Englishmen that had gone with Smith up the river) and they killed them. They then captured Captain John Smith.
