Presentation transcript:

Isometric Drawings 7th April 2015 Objective: to be able to make 3 Dimensional drawings with isometric paper (Level 5) By the end of the lesson: All: will be able to draw single cubes and make shapes with multi link. Most: will be able to draw 3d shapes on isometric paper. Some: will be able to complete their name in 3D on isometric paper.

Starter Draw a single cube on the isometric paper. Start by drawing the diamond Make sure you have the paper this way with the dots making a line straight down. You have 5 minutes to be creative

Can you draw? Use the Isometric Paper to draw this shape. Green Red

Can you build it? On the next slide there are some objects You need to use the multilink blocks to make the same shape on the board. Then you need to attempt to draw the shape on the Isometric paper.

Green Amber Red Extension

Create you own

In your own words... Write down in your own words how you create an isometric drawing? Start by explaining how to draw a single box on isometric paper

Your Name Using a pencil, can you write your name in 3D on the Isometric paper It may help you to make each letter with multi link to have it in front of you.
