Week 1 Focus/Farm Animals 00 Language Arts Math Science Social Studies Focus: Vocabulary Written Expression Activity: Additional Resources Numbers Operations Life Science Physical Science Economic Skills As we have done in previous themes, let’s use the graphic organizer to plan for week one. We know it’s very easy to plan for Language Arts and Math, but we cant forget about science and social studies. Let’s look at the focus for Week 1. Remember that as you plan for your theme, you may not all have the same focus areas. Let’s look at the ones that I have chosen for Week 1. Now let’s go on to Weeks 2 through 4, and you all find the focus areas for each content area. (Give participants about 10-15 minutes to find focus area.)
