Background Project began in July 2009 New team leader was selected in January 2010 Several teleconference meetings were conducted in February, March and April.

Current Status The main document Appendix, which describes the competencies required for auditors of Aviation, Space and Defense Quality Management System (AQMS) was drafted and circulated in May. This Appendix is critical to the structure of the rest of the document, as it will guide the requirements within.

Current Status To date, we have received minimal feedback on the Appendix. We have received verbal confirmation from 8 committee members to work on the document at the October meeting in York. The core document will be re-drafted based on the competency approach; to be discussed and reviewed in York. The draft will be distributed to the committee members by the end of this week.
