Acceptance/Trust Critical time for new students = first two weeks Total Acceptance Develop trust – be open and honest Need to make new students feel at home The first two weeks are critical because the students are just getting used to the classes, campus, etc. ? Process for Helping New Students 1. Meet counselor 2. Connect them to an S2S team member 3. Tour 4. “Lunch Buddy” Monthly Rewind activities Follow-up Connected at new student orientation, when tours are given, etc. Student sits with the team member at lunch New students are invited to our monthly rewind activities
