Create this chart and write these questions in your notebook (the chart should take up about 8 lines)

Classification Activity: Working with your partners you will classify the 10 items on the next slide into 3 different groups Each group must have a title, and you must answer all of the questions in your notes after the classifying is completed You will have 15 minutes to complete this activity

What kind of groupings did you come up with? Whole class discussion – write the groupings partners used on smartboard, compare answers… should be different, shows why unified labels for classification are so important
