NEW COMMUNITY MISSIONARIES 2015

The Missions Team seeks to support, encourage and represent the missionaries sent out from New Community as well as educate and equip the larger congregation to live globally mission-minded lives.

LOCAL MISSIONARIES Chicago, IL

BARNABAS LIN InterVarsity Christian Fellowship Barnabas serves as a campus director at The University of Chicago. He is continually working to disciple students and develop younger staff into leaders. He and his team hope to see a generation of transformed Christian intellectuals influencing the world with their integrity.

THE GIRON FAMILY ANTHONY, LIZ, BEN, + MAYA InterVarsity Christian Fellowship Anthony been working with students at the Illinois Institute of Technology for eight years. Recently, he has begun planting new ministries among Latino students on a variety of campuses. He is focusing on schools with large Latino populations, as there are very few ministries are actively trying to reach the Latino student body.

INTERNATIONAL MISSIONARIES Medellin, Colombia

THE ISAZA FAMILY KATIE, JULIO, BEN, + SAM Covenant World Mission The Isazas work in the areas of church planting and leadership development. They meet regularly with a group that has the vision of being a church community that engages young adults and university students. Additionally, they visit other Covenant church plants throughout the country supporting pastors and training lay leaders in the areas of Bible, theology, and children and youth ministry.

INTERNATIONAL MISSIONARIES Lusaka, Zambia

THE KAISER FAMILY DANIEL, ANDREA, JOSIAH, ELLA, ZURI, + ZION Africa Revolution Daniel and Andrea are working for orphan prevention. They disciple couples into God-centered marriages and healthy families, partner with locals who have a vision for the restoration of their communities, and live missionally alongside their neighbors, bridging the gap between rich and poor through Christ's love.

INTERNATIONAL MISSIONARIES East Asia

Covenant World Mission / Evergreen We have a two family groups that we support who serve in East Asia. They are using their professional skills to build relationships with people in order to share the Gospel with them. Their names and photos are not listed as they are serving in closed countries and we need to protect their identities.

INTERNATIONAL MISSIONARIES Oxford, England

MARCIA WANG International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES) Marcia works in strategic planning for IFES, a global community of indigenous student movements called to engage the university with the good news of Jesus Christ. She is helping to lead a global program that evaluates, learns about, and measures ministry impact in Latin America, Eurasia, and the Caribbean.
