EVSC 1300—Spring, 2017 Exam 3 40 total points >35 A 29–34 B 23–28 C Median = 29 Stn. Deviation = 6 40 total points >35 A 29–34 B 23–28 C 17–22 D <= 16 F

EVSC 1300—Exams 1–3—Spring, 2017 Median Std. Deviation 82 15.3 >=97 A 82-96 B 68-81 C 53-67 D <=52 F I will assign plusses and minuses to the final course grades. This is your current grade with the curve incorporated. It is your highest possible grade if a) you don’t take Exam 4 or b) you take Exam 4 and don’t improve your point total (remember that I drop your lowest exam).

EVSC 1300—Exams 1–3—Spring, 2017

>= 108 A 96-107 B 84-95 C 72-83 D <= 71 F EVERYONE ACES EXAM 4 This would be the grade distribution if everyone takes Exam 4 and gets a perfect score. Everyone’s lowest grade would be dropped and there would be no curve (90-100% is an “A”, etc.). This is the “worst case scenario” if you don’t take Exam 4. For example, if you currently have 78 points your grade is a “C+.” If you don’t take the final and everyone else does and aces it, your 78 points becomes a “D.” Note that this will not happen!!

The above grades include the curve of the total points calculated with the lowest exam dropped.
