Matrix 40 words from the current module. T. displays words in 4 x 4 grid. Select 1 S. to select 2 words with the same orthographic concept (e.g., card in A-2). Class chorally reads words. Pair-share verbalizing orthographic concept (e.g., invite-compete, both are Closed & V-e; cause-fault, both have ‘au’ vowel team). T. removes the 2 words from the Matrix. T. quickly replaces with new word into the empty slots. Continue through all words. Repeat as time allows.
