Project Overview: eSafety PowerPoint Scenario Youngsters use of the internet is increasing at an alarming rate across a number of platforms including computers and mobile phones. Social Networking has completely changed the way youngsters communicate with each other. However in recent years especially there has been a rise in problems caused by youngsters use of the internet. Tasks Create a PowerPoint Presentation which could be used as a tool to create more awareness about the dangers of the internet. Include appropriate content (Text & Images) Ensure your Presentation is fit for purpose and the target audience (Year 6 Pupils). Consider suitable House and text styles. Print of your Presentation as hand-outs (6 Per Page) Unit 1 – eSafety

Assessment for Learning Can you track your learning progression to ensure that you reach your target grade. Level 4-5 Level 6-7 Level 8-10 You have shown a basic understanding of eSafety. You can identify some dangers of using the internet. You can create a simple presentation including text and images. You understand a range of dangers whilst using the internet and the potential consequences. You understand which data is suitable to share online. You can apply a simple house style to your presentation which is suitable for the target audience. You can provide solutions to stay safe online. You understand the impact of social media in recent events. You can identify the positives and negatives issues surround social media.
