RDQ 5 Culturally Responsiveness in PBIS Discussion Leaders: Andreal Davis, Milaney Leverson & Kent Smith, Wisconsin RtI Center

Culturally Responsiveness in PBIS RDQ 5 Culturally Responsiveness in PBIS This roundtable discussion session is intended to help participants learn about, and discuss, helping teams embed culturally responsive practices into the PBIS Universal framework. Guiding questions: How do you get a school to begin the journey of embedding Culturally Responsive Practices into their framework? How do you organize the Culturally Responsive Practices concepts when there is so much to focus on? Getting white practitioners to think about race and culture can be an uncomfortable or daunting challenge. Is there a professional development model that can help with this? What lessons have been learned about embedding culturally responsive practices into PBIS?
