Course Description Course to assist first-time college students create greater success in college and in life. Students will develop self-awareness, self-responsibility and self-empowerment. Topics include campus and student support services and resources, learning strategies, study techniques, communication, critical thinking and problem solving, personal responsibility, career exploration, time management, educational planning, personal finances and stress management as it relates to mental health and mental well-being.
Suggested student population First time college students (high school grads, students who have never taken a college course before) High school Dual Enrollment or Con-current Enrollment Probation Levels 1 and 2 and dismissal students Re-Entry or students who have been out of the educational pipeline more than 5 years
