946-CARE To maintain a safe and healthy campus. To provide distressed faculty and staff a place to turn. To provide a way to reach out to faculty and staff of concern. To offer resources. To utilize case management and threat assessment using best practices.

What are signs of distress? Unusually aggressive behavior Marked change in attendance/work behaviors Depression/Apparent lack of energy Marked change in personal hygiene Smell of alcohol/slurring Withdrawal/fearfulness Dependence on others/fear of being alone Self-harm (cutting, scratching for example) Statements of low self-worth or suicidal statements Anger, paranoia
