SRW compactor Intended to process solid radioactive waste (SRW) coming in for processing in 100-liter drums for the purpose of reducing the SRW volume and placing compacts in casks.

SPECIFICATION Primary SRW capacity up to 5 m3/hour Input tray capacity 5 100-liter drums Compaction force 100 t Installed electric power 26 kW Cask size, mm 1060 x 1060 x 1060 1650 x 1650 x 1350 It is permitted to process SRW of the following specific activities - for a-active waste 2.2x105 Bq/kg - for b-active waste 3.7x106 Bq/kg - g-radiation dose rate 1 m of the surface/SRW package up to 0.01 mSv/h (1 mR/h)
