Presentation transcript:

This is an individual project. Brain Model Purpose: The purpose of this project is to familiarize you with the structures of the human brain and their functions. Overview Task: Create a 3 dimensional model of the brain. Requirements: Correct placement of the structure on your model brain A chart that explains what each structure of the brain does. The Process: Select Materials that you will use to construct the model and to illustrate placement. These materials can be paper, cardboard, a recycled T-shirt, or scrap fabric from around the house. (There are many other options, too.) Illustrate correct placement of each structure on the brain. You must also turn in the “Parts of the Brain” Chart Required Structures: Frontal lobe, parietal lobe, temporal lobe, occipital lobe, cerebellum, medulla (part of the brain stem), and four structures of your own choice. You can earn a grade of 104 (A+) on this project. 54 pts. for a complete brain chart (3 pts per row) and 50 pts for the mobile (5 pts per structure—must also be neat and professional looking!) This is an individual project. Due: Friday, March 24. Each day late will deduct 10 pts. from your grade. I will not accept any work after Thursday, March 30.
