¿Cómo estás (tú)………? ¿Cómo está usted Sr. ………? ¿Cómo está usted? Formal When you greet an adult like the principal and you do it with courtesy. ¿Cómo estás? Informal When you greet a friend or someone you are familiar with.

When two young people meet they say: ¡Hola! ¿Qué tal? Saludo Informal When two young people meet they say: ¡Hola! ¿Qué tal? Greet friends, people you know. ¡Hola¡ ¿ Que tal? Hi. How are you doing?

Ways to answer when you are introduced to someone your age. ¿Cómo te llamas? Me llamo Carlos Encantado (if you are a male you end the word with o) Delighted. Encantada (if you are a female you end with a) You can also during meeting someone for the first time: Igualmente= likewise Mucho gusto=Pleased to meet you.
