FDR’s plan was called the New Deal. It focused on the three R’s
Relief, Recovery and Reform Relief – Provide immediate help to homeless and starving people. Recovery – Programs to create jobs and get the economy moving again. Reform – Programs to fix the problems that caused the Great Depression.
