The New AUXINFO The URL is the same: www.auxinfo.uscg.gov Many features are completely different from the previous version. There are areas where a Right Click on the mouse is required as opposed to the customary left click. The next slides attempt to bring you up to speed on the differences you will see in this new version and how to navigate and obtain the desired results. Right click on a column or row displays this pop up providing for additional functions. Left click on “Hide Selection” causes the highlighted column or row to be “hidden.” bplatt@juno.com 1/1/2019

In the “Includes categories” window, scroll down to “MT” (which is highlighted) and continue scrolling to “UPE.” Pressing the “CTRL” button, click on “UPE,” then click on “OK.” bplatt@juno.com 1/1/2019

A new column is added to the display showing the total of MT plus PE hours. bplatt@juno.com 1/1/2019

This new column can be sorted to show the totals in descending or ascending order. Right click on the column heading, and ignore the pop up shown. Left click on the arrows at the top of the column. bplatt@juno.com 1/1/2019

The file function is different. Clicking on Swap Axis Suppress Zeros The action or “Swap Axis” and “Suppress Zeros” are the same as before. Left click on either icon brings the same results. Prepare Bookmark This feature works as before. Clicking on this icon will cause the screen to repaint. Then, don’t forget to click on “Favorites” on the browser top menu bar and then click on “Add to Favorites” on the drop down menu. bplatt@juno.com 1/1/2019

Below “Search String”, you’ll notice a drop-down box that contains the options for searching for a phrase that “Contains”, “Begins With”, or “Ends With” a word of your choice. bplatt@juno.com 1/1/2019

Find…(cont.) Your options are limited searching to the Report and the Cube. The Report is the right side of the page with the cube in it. The cube is the left side of the page with the Data Tree in it. bplatt@juno.com 1/1/2019

If you choose “Report”, your search options are “Rows and Columns”, “Rows”, or “Columns”. bplatt@juno.com 1/1/2019

If you choose “Cube”, notice your search options are identical to the folder names listed in the Dimension Viewer. bplatt@juno.com 1/1/2019

Once you have made your choices, click “Find Once you have made your choices, click “Find.” Clicking “Close” will abort the Find function. bplatt@juno.com 1/1/2019

The “Show Hide” icon. Clicking on it will bring up the “Hide/Show” pop up where selected columns or, rows can be hidden from view or shown. To use this feature, the columns or rows must be selected and moved to the right window. bplatt@juno.com 1/1/2019

To display only MT and PE activities, click in the small rectangle above the column. This highlights the column in yellow. Then …. bplatt@juno.com 1/1/2019

At the far right of the bottom menu bar there is this Icon Mouse over text says: “Return to Source.” Clicking on it will return you from the current Cube to the Cube Selection Screen where another cube may be selected. bplatt@juno.com 1/1/2019

to the Report area only. Note, the arrow ...to the Report area only. Note, the arrow now faces the opposite direction. Clicking on it again restores the Dimension Viewer. bplatt@juno.com 1/1/2019

If there are more “Dimensions” to be displayed clicking on a “darken” arrow will cause the “Dimension Line” to move. These are available bplatt@juno.com 1/1/2019

Pressing the darken arrows will result in moving the displayed dimensions either one position Or all positions bplatt@juno.com 1/1/2019

The buttons to the far right of the Dimension line deal with changing views of the report and the Dimension line itself. bplatt@juno.com 1/1/2019

When you have drilled down to a specific unit or member, clicking this button returns you the the US Coast Guard level. bplatt@juno.com 1/1/2019

This button allows you to expand the “Dimension Line” to display all Dimensions that have been selected. Clicking on it will cause the display to change from the single line to....... bplatt@juno.com 1/1/2019
