Oil Pollution Act (OPA) Drafted in 1990 No amendments National

Passed by the 101st U. S Congress under George H. W Passed by the 101st U.S Congress under George H. W. Bush’s administration This act is meant to regulate oil transportation and the liability that comes from an oil spill in U.S waters Under this act, companies have to have certain procedures and regulations in case of an oil spill so that the entire country isn’t liable
