What is ?
The Meralco K-Ligtas Awards is an advocacy program of Meralco through the Meralco Power Academy, in collaboration with the Philippines’ premier in electrical systems, labor management and public safety. It is the first electrical safety excellence awards program in the country which formally recognizes institutions who have successfully integrated electrical safety and outstanding work practices into their respective corporate values, and have demonstrated commitment and outstanding results in the field of electrical safety.
Who are the Kligtas Awards Partners?
The K-Ligtas Awards Committee is composed of officials from Meralco, Meralco Power Academy, Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers (IIEE), Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Energy (DOE), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and the U.P. College of Engineering.
