Drawing Designs- Native American, Celtic, and Mayan Objective: You will analyze styles of drawing in order to differentiate between Native American, Celtic, and Mayan Art. Goal of this lesson: Make a mug or vase. Use coils. Create a form other than straight up. Stylize an animal. Add designs that are similar to Native American, Celtic, or Mayan art.

How to stylize an animal: Look at a picture. Draw the contour lines. Use shapes to build first if contour lines don’t work. PEN & INK APP ON IPAD. Simplify outline. Add designs. Create thick and thin lines. Make it look more like Native American, Celtic, or Mayan.
