1. Economic Impacts Q. How did colonial rule transform the economic lives of the colonized peoples? The Expansion of the Global Economy – integration of African and Asian economies into the new industrial capitalist economy Cash-crop Agriculture – (how did cash crop agriculture transform the lives of the colonized peoples?)

What does forced labor say about the Europeans who claimed they had ended slave trade and slavery? How did the colonized peoples respond to the wage labor demand?
