Preparing for Chapter 9 Quiz You can play the Chapter Lesson Game from TeachTCI as a way to review for the quiz. What is the main purpose of each branch of government? Why/How is Congress broken out the way it is (bicameral)? How does a bill becomes a law? What is the purpose of the checks and balance system? Identify checks on the different branches of government Who are the heads of each branch (and their immediate peeps) and how are they selected/requirements? What is an amendment, executive order, and Judicial Review? Know the vocab words from the chapter (words in blue online) What is Federalism and how is it broken up? How are the powers of the government broken out (federal, shared, state)? What is your role as a citizen?
