Intro to Agriculture AP Human Geography Agriculture, Food Production, and Rural Land Use Unit

For today, 03/21 Welcome Back! Pick up a Unit Overview. Dates will be posted in the next day or two.

“So God Made a Farmer” You may recognize the commercial, but probably not the voice - Paul Harvey. This speech was given at an FFA convention in 1978 in Kansas city, Missouri. Harvey was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2005, the highest award given to a civilian.

Responding to Paul Harvey…. (1.) Using Socrative, ROOM 262479, respond to the following question: What do you think Paul Harvey is trying to convey about farmers and agriculture? (2.) On your blank paper, draw a picture of a modern American farm. Use coloring utensils to make your picture awesome. Provide an explanation of what’s going on with your farm.
