Yup, my truck made the news! For today, 08/26 Yup, my truck made the news! Welcome back, scholars! Please pick up a “Course Syllabus” & a “Scavenger Hunt” and quietly begin working

AP HuG = College Class!  You can earn both high school and college credit!

Class Textbook by James Rubenstein a.k.a. “Rubensteamy” 11th edition (published in 2013) NEWEST edition!!

AP Exam: Friday, May 13, 2016!!!!! Two parts Scores are scaled, 1-5 75 MC questions 3 FRQs (what the FRQ?!?) Scores are scaled, 1-5 Passing = 3, 4, 5 DOES NOT count towards this class; scores are not even available until July 2016

Materials Needed for AP HuG Dell laptop Textbook Medium of organization Paper Pen/pencil Mr. Clark’s Guide to Geo AP Exam test prep book

Grading Policy 60%: Major Grades 35%: Daily Grades Exam Vocab and Map Assessment Project 35%: Daily Grades Not a MG or a R & W Assessment 5%: R & W Assessment R and W Assessments, duh  CCISD4ME = monitor grades

Late Work 1 day late = 25% deduction 2 days late = 25% deduction Max score = 75 2 days late = 25% deduction 3 days late = no credit

Absences 7 days to make up a test or quiz 0 goes in for absent work until it is made up Must write “absent” or “late” on work being turned in after due date

Snacks & Electronics No food. Period. Very few exceptions Beverages must be bottled Not a can Not a cup with a lid Not a helmet with a straw Unless I’ve asked you to get them out, electronic devices should not be out. No excuses. Period.
