CSTC’S In the CSTC program, Sea Cadets will normally progress through increasingly longer courses. For example, a 2-week course, then a 3-week course, and then a 6-week or longer courses.

2 Week course at HMCS Ontario TRAINING 2010 GENERAL TRAINING General Training (GT) 2 Week course at HMCS Ontario Introduces Cadets to other courses at CTSC’s Cadets will spend a few days immersed in and learning about the various trades. Cadets could fall into 1 of 3 intakes over the summer. All Cadets under 14 must apply for GT.
Cadets are put through vigorous but enjoyable curriculum at CTSC’s. TRAINING 2010 TRAINING CENTRE LIFE Cadets are put through vigorous but enjoyable curriculum at CTSC’s. Wakey Wakey is at 0600 with their day starting with PT training. All Meals are in the Mess Hall at RMC (lots of variety of food). Training commences throughout the day ending with a Sunset parade attended by the whole camp. Training day ends at 2000 During the evenings, Cadets get personal time to socialize and call home. (But if they aren’t, it means they’re having fun!)
Also able to send some cadets to Bronte Sail Program TRAINING 2010 APPLICATION PROCESS All Cadets will sit down with Senior Cadets and relay their camp requests. These requests will be submitted by 9 Jan. Cadets can apply to three courses and prioritize them – by 30 Jan 2018 latest With limited amount of billets for each course available to each Cadet Unit, the Cadets need to be prioritized by the CO and staff. – late Feb/early Mar 2018 If Cadet is offered a position on a course, that is when parents sign consent forms and provide alternate/emergency contacts, verify personal information and let us know if you intend to take your Cadet on leave. – First offers come late April, early May (need to be accepted by late May). If you do not get an early offer don’t despair! Offers come all the way up to when camp starts and back-fill positions come up. Also able to send some cadets to Bronte Sail Program
