The Issues: Compromise with immorality Rejection of the divine nature and status of the Lord Jesus Christ

Rebellion against God’s authority Allowing immoral behaviour Rejecting God’s channels of authority Slandering angelic powers Arrogant and abusive rejection of things they can’t understand Like Cain, Balaam and Korah

They are under judgement They corrupt intimate fellowship and worship They only look after themselves Like clouds without rain… Autumn trees but no fruit… Waves churning up foam and flotsam…

They are under judgement Wandering stars lost in the darkness… They are consigned to judgement They are fault-finding, grumbling and self-righteous

What about us? We must be on our guard against false teaching which invites us to compromise with secular society Especially teaching which undermines bible-based moral values And teaching which attacks our distinctive beliefs about Jesus

We must safeguard our personal values: Respect and honour Self-control Personal integrity
