Up to 9 billion € should be invested into the PRI. Main strategic goals of the Republic of Slovenia: the efficient and modern public railway infrastructure; shifting of freight from roads to rails; multimodality; safe and efficient transport. By 2025, Slovenia should upgrade and modernize its Public railway infrastructure according to modern standards and technical specifications for interoperability.
