Kinematics in one Dimension: Uniform motion graphs

Kinematics is the study of how objects move. Dynamics (our next unit) is the study of why objects move (the cause of motion) One dimension means along a straight line 2-D (2 dimensions means on a plane surface

Uniform motion (p24) Uniform motion is when the velocity remains constant (uniform) Uniform acceleration means the acceleration remains constant (the object speeds up or slows down at a constant or uniform rate)
