Definition of Autism / facts and what can cause Autism A mental condition, presented from early childhood, characterized by difficulty in communication and forming relationships with other people and in using language and abstract concepts More than 200,00 cases of autism per year More males than females have autism than females Experts are uncertain about the causes of autism A number of circumstances could cause autism for example environmental, biologic, and genetic factors

Pictures of kids with autism Children with autism can look very different, some can look perfectly fine and Some can look very different. Some children with autism can also break things very Easily. For example the picture of the ball that was deflated in under five minutes.

How to teach a student with autism You must be very specific with your word choice Always keep your language correct Give fewer answer choices Make sure you have you give them enough time to understand what you are asking them to do Give a reward if they get the question right for example A cookie , piece of candy, toy , to keep them excited

Diagnosing Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Can be difficult to test, since there is no medical test like a blood test, to diagnose the disorders doctors look at behavior and development to make a diagnosis

Most important features of Autism Very little , to no eye contact Resistance to being held or touched Tends to get close to someone when they are speaking to them Does not generally share Difficulty to read facial expressions Seem unable to understand another feelings Prefers to be alone Difficulty maintaining friendships
