National School Sport Week Lloyds TSB National School Sport Week is Britains largest celebration of school sport. The 2011 week saw 14,000 schools and five million young people taking part – and the 2012 week promises to be bigger and better! ( Bedford Academy key drivers: -Participation in sport -Enjoyment of physical activity -Encouraging a competitive element through sport -Competing for the Village Cup!!! -Understanding the values and importance of sportsmanship -Raising the profile of the Olympics across the curriculum
