Initial Environment Review (IER) EMS Initial Environment Review (IER) One Day Purpose & Outcome To provide the participants with necessary inputs in terms of knowledge and skills for conducting initial Environment Review to establish the status related to Environment of a Plant. This course will provide an in-depth knowledge of process of conducting Initial Environment Management Review to be used as an input to designing the Environment Management System for the Company. Process Through presentations, class room discussions and exercises the delegates would be provided - Knowledge of the objectives, methodology and conduct of IER - Development of inputs useful to create proposed objectives, targets and programs. Schedule : 0845 to 1700 Hrs. Who Should Attend ? • Persons who are responsible for Policy / Decision making. • Persons who are responsible for designing and implementing EMS. Note : For delegates who have some previous basic knowledge of EMS standards. Ideal for delegates after one day or two days EMS awareness course and then followed by hands on conduct of IER for a day or two based on the size of the company. V.
