Customer Cancels the Debit/Credit Transaction Welcome to the presentation on what to do if the customer changes their mind about their payment method
If the customer changes their mind before the processor selects the submit button, the close button can be selected to take the processor back to the Payment window. If the submit button has already been selected, either wait for 60 seconds for the transaction to time out or follow the directions in this presentation.
The bottom left of the PIN Pad Authorization will tell the processor what the customer is being prompted to do. The customer should slide their card.
The customer must choose debit or credit.
If the customer does not agree to pay the processing fee, they can press the cancel button on the PIN Pad device.
The processor will see that the customer canceled the process from the message on the bottom left of the machine. Ask the customer if they want to use another payment method or if they still want to use the credit card.
The customer can also choose to end the credit card transaction on the window asking if the total amount being charged to the card is correct. If they select No…

Highlight the Credit Card Payment in the Payment Information box and select the remove option.
Put in whatever payment method the customer chooses to use.
Select Save and Close on the Payment window.
Transaction has now been completed
