Åsa Önnerfors Eurostat Statistical Atlas Åsa Önnerfors Eurostat

The Statistical Atlas of Eurostat Available on the Eurostat website since 2012. Contains the Eurostat regional yearbook 2013-16, LUCAS (Land use and land cover) 2009 and 2012 and results from Census 2011. It's an interactive map viewer based on tailor-made maps with static data. The user can zoom and pan over the map and also identify the value of a specific region. Possibility to combine geographical data from different base map layers with statistical data by using transparency settings.

New functionalities Possibility to blend in overseas regions. Possibility to search in the map by NUTS code or label and the map will be focused on the selected region and the statistical value displayed. New geographical layers in background maps: blue marble, grey earth, hypsometric, natural earth, GEOSTAT population grid (2011), etc. Updated territorial typologies available in the folder "Typologies, regions and cities".
