Purposes of the day To receive a fuller introduction to the courses you are going to take To receive materials that will help you prepare for those courses so you can get off to a flying start in September To introduce you to some aspects of Sixth Form study and life: more of this on September 4th

Subject Sessions You will get a flavour of the A Level courses. You will be issued with the “Bridging Units” that will assist the transition from GCSE to AS level. You need to complete these! Acceptance onto courses will be dependent upon this.

The Sixth Form presentation Your Sixth Form Presentation will take place in the Queen’s Hall. You will hear more about getting ready for study in the Sixth Form During the SF session you must collect an important information booklet: please make sure you share the information you receive with your parents.

Lunchtime Fire Alarm You can go in first There will be a cash till Not allowed off site today Welcome to use the SFC Fire Alarm There are no plans to have a fire drill today. If the alarm does go off your meeting point is the small tennis courts area: Year 12 will also assemble there.

New Students PIN to access school buildings: tap the icon on the screen by the door, enter 9876 and press the green tick. This will ONLY work for today. If it doesn’t work, keep close to Keswick students! If you do get lost ask any Sixth Former or member of staff, or come to the Sixth Form Centre and see Mrs Challis or Mrs McIntosh or Mr Purdy or Mr Hannaway. Keswick School rules mean that you are not permitted to use your mobile phone. PIN will expire after school today. On the 4th September you will have access to all buildings and will have your finger scanned to use from then on.

Location notes P3 product design in L19: this is in the technology block. P3 music practitioners in C01: this is in the Crosthwaite Centre. P5 sociology: please note that this is now in L12, not L14. L12 is one of the mobiles on the large tennis yard.
