VAT In The GCC Seminar Speakers Bio Matt Parkes Mubeen Khadir Director, Indirect Tax Matt has over 13 years of advising on indirect taxes globally: in New Zealand, Australia, the UK and Middle East. During the last nine years Matt‘s industry focus has been in the Energy and Infrastructure sectors. He has worked onsite as Indirect Tax Lead for a global trading business and on Government projects advising on domestic VAT policy. Matt Parkes Director, International Tax Mubeen is an International and M&A Tax Director based in the Bahrain office. He has extensive experience as a corporate and tax lawyer in Australia and the Middle East. Mubeen also has a working knowledge of Australian Goods and Services Tax (VAT) and is currently part of the VAT implementation team in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
