April 4, 2016 Vocabulary Words Continued from last week softly- quietly universe- all of the things in space magical- beautiful or delightful in a way that seems unlike everyday life field- an area of open land wondrous- inspiring a feeling of delight or wonder shrubbery- an area planted with bushes What we are learning! Reading Students will be in differentiated guided reading groups at their instructional level. We will be reading a variety of narratives to help us when writing our own. Context Clues syllables   Word Work This week our pattern is ed, ing- A one syllable short vowel word followed by one consonant=Double it We will work on the pattern all week. Partial credit will be given for parts of words.
