Weekly Routines Numeracy on Monday to Wednesday, Maths on Thursday Guided Reading(term 1 and 4) on Monday to Wednesday, Writing on Thursday, Spelling on Wednesday Assembly, Problem Solving and Golden Time on Friday PE on Monday and Tuesday with me, Thursday with Miss Menzies. Run a Mile 3 times per week. Show and Tell on first Thursday of the month. Topic work, Expressive Arts, RME ongoing

Homework Active homework walls in terms 2 and 4 Traditional homework in terms 1 and 3 Spelling/Writing Reading Maths Other subjects

P3 Topics Term 1 Local Area – Materials/Science focus (local walks and visits) Term 2 Food and Farming – trip to Gorgie Farm Term 3 Senses/Human Body (skeleton) and Magnets Term 4 Vikings – museum trip Also have whole school topics
