Skills Profiler 1 Page Guide To access Skills Profiler navigate to the Academy Central intranet page and click on the link for Skills Profiler. The Skills Profiler page will load with details of the application. Click Start to start Profiling. Click on the role that you want to do skills profiling for and select you current level against each skill. The required level is shown in blue and your selected level will be highlighted with a dotted line. You will need to click on the blue bar for each skill type to assess all skills. Once all Skills have been assessed click Generate Report to generate a report of your skills assessment.   On the left hand side of the screen you will see an option to filter by type. Make sure that View Skills Profiler is selected. You will then need to filter by Department to find your role. An assessment of your skills will be displayed with a summary of how you have compared to the requirements. To send a report to your line manager click Submit this Report. Enter your details, those of your manager and select your group, then click Submit. The report will be sent to your manager, you can now download a copy of the report or view your development advise.
