Why are we studying this? This project will help us to understand - Aztec pattern, masks and craft - what “Pattern” is - what “Form” is We will learn how to - create a mosaic onto a 2D and 3D surface

How can we recognize An Aztec MASK? What can you see? Shapes? Colours? Patterns? Explain what you like: I like… because…

Create a mosaic experiment of an Aztec pattern Things to remember… Sketch out a basic plan first Cut a strip of colour paper first and then cut it into squares Apply glue to the little square- not the background Follow the lines of the pattern with the square- changing their angle Use only blue, green, red and black.
