From the Discovery Wizard: Introduction screen, click Next, enter the name of your UNIX database server, and click Next. i. Click Next, give your regular administrator access to your database. j. Click Finish. Click OK. If your discovery was not successful contact your instructor. Set the Preferred Credentials for your database and server (node) for running jobs on the Preferred Credentials page. Select your database and supply the username sys and password secure or the ones provided by your instructor. Scroll down in the list to where the nodes are listed. Highlight your database server node and enter the username and password of your account on that server. a. From the main menu navigate to: Configuration > Preferences. b. Select the Preferred Credentials page. c. Scroll to the bottom of the window and select the entry for your database. d. Supply the following: Username: sys or Instructor supplied Password: change_on_install or Instructor supplied Confirm Password: Role: SYSDBA e. Click OK. f. Select your node (server). g.
