Apprentice Technician Nicola Ward Apprentice Technician I am apprentice technician within Darlington Design Centre. I have been into engineering since I was a child, as I was always with my dad, he was always fixing cars and building things and letting me help and do little things for him on the projects, and I think that has inspired me to go into engineering. I have been doing engineering based subject since I was 14 and I have only been in the working force In engineering since October 2016. The highlight of my job is the people I work with, I love coming to work and being around such positive people and another highlight is that no day is the same I always enjoy the change of work. There is lots of little things to do and learn and it can be difficult to remember that I have to do them all. My hobbies are; gaming, skateboarding , and arts and crafts. My interests are; cars and music. I like how no day is the same, there is always something new to be doing or learning. I would always recommend an engineering career. #INWED17 A-one+
