1.1 – Safety in the classroom General Always work under supervision Make sure you know the procedure Make sure you know how to use your lab equipment Always use proper PPE (eyewear, gloves, ect) (PPE = personal protective equipment) Loose clothing, hair, sandals = DANGER! Food or drinks are no good! Horseplay = VERY dangerous! Emergency Equipment – Know it!
