States of Water by Leslie Wallace

Three states of water are: * Solid * Liquid * Gas

Below freezing water is a solid. * Ice * Snowflakes

Between freezing and boiling, water is a liquid. * Water we drink * Lakes * Oceans

Above boiling water becomes a gas. * Steam

When water changes from a solid to a liquid it is melting When water changes from a solid to a liquid it is melting. When water changes from a liquid to a gas it is evaporation. When water changes from a gas to a liquid it is called condensation.
