ASHRAE Undergraduate Program Equipment Grants provides grants to engineering, technical and architectural schools worldwide with the goal of increasing student knowledge, learning and awareness of the HVAC&R industry through the design and construction of senior projects. Grants are to be used to fund equipment and supplies for senior projects, 2-year technical school projects and undergraduate training HVAC labs that focus on ASHRAE-related topics. Applications are due December 15th Applicants will receive notification after the winter meeting, usually in late February An unaccepted project proposal may be revised and re-submitted the following year. Funds for successful Grant applications are available after August 2nd.

Any funded project not completed (as indicated by non-receipt of a mid-year progress or final report) will result in the removal of the school from consideration for future grants. A video of the grant project will be expected with the final report. Video will be a minimum of two minutes, max 5 minutes
