Course Scope Human sexuality and AIDS education, within established guidelines, will also be included.

Citizenship Citizenship grade will be determined by individual student behavior, following classroom rules, procedures, and the FERTITTA 15. Being an active participant in class is a large factor in earning your citizenship grade. You must take responsibility for your education!

Homework Homework assignments will be given once or twice per week. Each assignment should take no more than 10-15 minutes to complete. All assignments are to be neat, complete, turned in on time, and labeled with the proper heading.

See your signed acknowledgement sheet for late passes. Late Assignments Students are strongly encouraged to turn in all work on time and complete; therefore, NO late work will be accepted. For unforeseen emergencies, each student is assigned two quarterly late work passes that may be used to turn in an assignment one day late. See your signed acknowledgement sheet for late passes.

Absent Work Students who are absent are expected to meet with their teacher for missing work and assessments; these missed assignments must be completed and turned in within three (3) days after returning to school from an absence.

Assessments Test and quizzes will be given throughout the semester for the student to show mastery of the content. The policy on retakes will be discussed prior to the first assessment.
